LED Stripes Made in Germany Shine on The Budapest Cultural Center
Simple Architectural Lighting Design Enhanced by my-tronic Ledon's LED Systems
Far from being a gem of architectural lighting, the Budapest Cultural Center serves its original purpose, showing its real value as a veritable citadel of culture and art. At first glance the lighting of the façade seems simple and weak, but as the night falls down the
Aurora LED stripes provided by my-tronic Ledon GmbH start their show of light, shining with the national colors of Hungary: red-white-green.
For this particular project the Aurora stripes were encapsulated in aluminum profiles and protected with silicon and acrylic diffusion lenses. The perfect encapsulation makes the stripes water and weatherproof.
A DMX512 compatible controller backs up each stripe. That's how, the Aurora simple LED stripes become individually controllable and able to emit over 16 million colors each. The assembly is programmed from the central computer with the e:cue programmer, a high performance software capable of designing complex light scenario.
The Budapest Project is another relevant example of how lighting enhance architecture.
