Using LEDs Leads my-tronic Ledon Into the Future of Lighting
Qualified Solutions for Tailored LED Applications
Prior to becoming a LED manufacturer my-tronic Ledon GmbH (founded in 1991 in Morbach, Germany as my-tronic GmbH, was acquired by LEDON Lighting GmbH of Zumtobel Group in January 2007 and became my-tronic Ledon GmbH), had as main field of activity the development and the production of electronic building groups and devices. Like many small manufacturing companies, my-tronic Ledon started with just two engineers and a modest capital. The first projects included measurement and quality control systems for the food industry, trash water control systems, POS (point of sales) devices, GPS tracking systems and products for the automotive industry such as: remote control systems, UPS - uninterruptible power supplies, transponder systems and numeric LED displays.
The company grew fast and today my-tronic Ledon GmbH is one the few LED manufacturers able to offer highly customizable LED systems. my-tronic Ledon manufactures controllable LED products using the RGB LED technology since 2003. This LED technique is quite special - basically it is what manufacturers call the "three chip technology". Each LED's features are given by the general traits of the RGB LED technology: red, green and blue chips are mounted in the same LED package, but each chip can be individually controlled, thus allowing countless color mixtures.
my-tronic Ledon has its own manufacturing facilities and a very committed team ready to work day and night for a project if necessary.
LEDs were the most daring choice for the team of engineers from my-tronic Ledon. It is not easy to manufacture custom specific controllable LED products without a competitive team of experts, without passion for innovation and challenge. The LED portfolio includes, among other products, stand-alone and PC-based LED light controllers, simple LED stripes and controllable LED strips, simple LED spots and controllable LED spots for indoors, outdoors, ceiling, wall, ground and underwater use, LED tiles - for illuminating floors, walls and ceilings, LED ropes for Xmas illumination, LED wall washers, SMD LED stripes, flexible LED stripes, large LED video walls and panels, as well as plenty of other custom specific LED products and solutions.
