Our LED company is situated in Morbach, the "sun parlor" of Hunsrück. Despite the sun, the clime in Morbach is rather windy and cold. But when it comes to LED business we invite you here: Morbach is my-tronic Ledon's home! LED and technology enthusiasts will find Morbach to be not only the home of a LED company, but a friendly village, with plenty of restaurants and hotels as well.
Many of our customers discovered that Morbach is not only a place where LED techniques and LED products are developed but also the perfect place to come and spend a serene holiday. The commune is a state-approved spa, situated in the center of the low mountain range in Hunsrück. It has about 11.000 inhabitants and consists of 19 districts. Its range is from the Haardtforest in the north and to the High- and Idarforest is the south.
Clients traveling from abroad to discover our LED technological knowledge will be happy to know that Morbach is situated only 15 minutes away from the International Airport Frankfurt-Hahn. A my-tronic Ledon representative will welcome clients at the airport, and after the LED business meetings end, someone will guide them through the county.
In Morbach there is not much to see or do, but only 12 kilometers away the wine paradise Bernkastel-Kues is waiting for you, with its incredible vineyards, the boat-trips on the Mosel, the Landshut ruins and the old town (the historical medieval market). The timbered houses, over 400 years old, build matchless scenery.
Another famous destination not far from Morbach (10 kilometers away) is the ruin Baldenau, the only castle in the Hunsrück, which had a 12-meter wide moat. In 1689, in the Palatine war of succession, the castle was badly destroyed, so a reconstruction was not possible. Further tourist places of exhibitions are the over 250 years old historical oil mill in the district "Schmausemühle" and the archaeology park Belgium near Wederath, which contains beside a Celtic-roman cemetery also some temple districts and a roman camp.
And if you stay two days, or a weekend, than be sure you do not miss Trier, the oldest German town. Here are many things too see, one day is really not enough. The best-known building of the Roman period is Porta Nigra - a part of the roman city wall. Other historical buildings are the imperator thermae ("Kaisertherme"), the amphitheatre, the Barbara thermae ("Barbaratherme") and the roman bridge, which is still today in use for the normal road traffic.
