LED Controllers: Global LED Controllers
LED System Controllers for Flexible Applications
my-tronic Ledon Offers Complete LED Systems That Include LED Light Sources, Highly Versatile Global and Stand-alone LED Controllers, Power Supplies and Connectors
As part of the "total solutions" philosophy, my-tronic Ledon provides complete LED systems that include controllable LED luminaries, LED controllers, power supplies and all the necessary connectors that make a system function-ready. The LED controllers are commonly used to dim LED light and mix LED colors in projects such as: architectural lighting, mood lighting, accent lighting, event lighting and much more. Wherever you need creative color and light mixing you can count on the LED controllers manufactured by my-tronic Ledon GmbH.
Each LED controller was designed to function in both modes: stand-alone or DMX512. The controllers are multi-channel devices with either 1, 8 or 16 RGB (red, green, blue) or RGBA (red, green, blue, amber) outputs that allow users to create infinite color and light combinations. The controllers with RGBA outputs are used for special LED luminaries - the Aimend LED Wall Washers (LED light sources manufactured with high power LEDs) or other custom specific LED lights manufactured with high power LEDs.
The new controllers designed and manufactured by my-tronic Ledon push LED system efficiency to a new level. Controlling light has never been so easy. These controllers bring you a few important benefits. No matter if you are a light designer, an architect, a professional DJ, an art director or a domestic user, you can always benefit from the advantages brought to you by these controllers.
- You can use them to control LED light sources and obtain flicker-free light for TV shows and other camera related applications.
- You can install them quickly on-stage with the 19"-rack mounting device (Meira 19-series) and you need no special cables to do so.
- All the controllers calibrate colors accurately no matter what light source you use.
- The controllers are highly versatile - meaning you can use them with various light sources, either manufactured by my-tronic Ledon or by other LED companies.
The
global controller or the
"LED System Controller" is used to manage the whole system. The user can create a sequence of light effects and store it into the integrated memory. Depending on the actual controller used, more such sequences can be stored in the internal memory or as files on a PC. These can be later used, eliminating the need of re-configuring the desired colour effects. During operation, the global controller sends data to the local controllers and can inform the user if hardware failures occur.
The local or
stand-alone controller is used to control a certain number of light sources (depending on the number of RGB channel outputs). It
receives the data from the global controller and it is also used to connect the power supplies necessary for the light sources to operate (different light sources may need different voltages to operate). The stand-alone controller may use pre-programmed effects in case there is no global controller in the system. This is especially useful when only a few effects are needed, in a system that has a limited number of light-sources that can be controlled using a single local controller.
