The controllable LED Spots from the Chandra category are what we like to call intelligent LED light sources. To create these spotlights my-tronic Ledon GmbH is using selected RGB LEDs. The LEDs' types can vary from standard 3 and 5 mm light emitting diodes, to super flux LEDs or other high power LEDs produced by industry leaders such as Cree, Nichia or Luxeon.
The Chandra LED Spot product line encompasses a class of intelligent round light controlled with any DMX console (or other DMX source) in order to create any type of LED effects. The RGB LED's exceptional features made this lighting technique special: basically is what manufacturers call the "three chip technology": red, green and blue chips are mounted in the same package, but each can be individually controlled, thus allowing millions color mixtures and the creation of spectacular light effects. The available effects start from simple flash and go to sunrise, rainbow and beyond. RGB LEDs can emit over 16 millions different colors, more than humans can perceive, so the Chandra spotlights can be controlled to perform alike. The name of this LED product line is not arbitrary: Chandra means "Moon" in Sanskrit and it is often related to splendour and relaxation. And splendour is exactly what the Chandra controllable LED light spots generate.
These spotlight LED sources can be inserted in different light objects, therefore they have no housings. The application areas include domestic lamps, spheres and cubes for mood lighting, advertising products as bottle glorifiers and many more. When mounted in special waterproof housings, the LED light spots enable users to spotlight buildings and illuminate gardens and other outdoors projects.
