The Adhara LED Spots Have Important Advantages Over Traditional Lighting Sources
The LED Spot products are here to bring a pure light wherever LED light designers and architects consider necessary, from building illumination to emphasizing art objects and beyond. The Adhara Spots are simple LED light sources made of selected LEDs - from super flux LEDs (also known as Piranha LEDs or Spider LEDs) to high power LED lights.
The LED spots from the Adhara category can be only switched on and off. Yet, with additional light controllers, the spot can be dimmed or connected in a network to create different light effects. The Adhara spotlights are a part of the innovative lighting systems developed by my-tronic Ledon GmbH. These groundbreaking systems, already known under the name Deco LED, encompass various LED light sources, from simple (on/off) to intelligent LED spotlights (controllable LED color and light intensity). The simple spots have won the name that best describes their brightness: Adhara (Epsilon Canis Majoris) is one of the brightest stars spotted in the sky. The name "ah-DAY-rah" means "the virgin" and the star is one of the hottest of all the bright stars. In fact, scientists consider Adhara to be 15000 times more luminous than the Sun.
Being designed to be easily inserted in light objects, the Adhara spotlights have no housing. On request, each simple LED spotlight can be mounted in waterproof housings - IP 68. my-tronic Ledon designs and assemblies particular LED lights for different applications respecting the customer requirements. However, there are some standard items, including spotlight LEDs, available for purchase or rent. The renting terms and conditions are described in our LED systems for rent section.
The Adhara spots have a few important advantages over traditional spotlights (halogen, incandescent), including long operating life, low maintenance costs, no UV emissions and they are able to emit pure, homogeneous light without brightness-decreasing and color filters. The LED's environmental friendliness and energy efficiency traits define each LED light source as well. Whether light spots, strips, tubes or tiles, the LED light sources are the future of illumination.
In the LED photo gallery and LED video gallery there are depicted some application areas for the simple spotlights.
