The Aurora Simple LED Stripes Are the Perfect Choice for Neon Replacement Being Available in Different Housings and Sizes
The LED Stripe category consist of a broad range of linear LED lights, starting with the simple LED strips - known as Aurora Light, and continuing with the controllable Asterope stripes. High power stripes are described generally as LED wall washers or color washers and they are a rather new, highly innovative product: Aimend Light. Other stripes manufactured with LEDs are the SMD LED Strips Sagitta and the most recent Elpis Flexible LED strips.
Each of the Aurora LED Stripes can be cut into smaller parts and each of these parts can be controlled individually. Although the Aurora Stripes are simple LED light sources (on/off), you can still use additional controllers to dim their light or to connect them in a network for special light effects. Seeing the sky striped in magic colors by the Polar Lights (Boreal Auroras) inspired us in choosing the name for a product we believe to be one of the best of its kind.
There are two types of Aurora LED light stripes: single row and double row. Aurora stripe luminaries are manufactured, as all our LED light sources, with carefully selected LEDs. For the Aurora stripes we use mostly super flux LEDs, due to their special features. The LED's four-pin design gives super flux LEDs a very important advantage over traditional two-pin light emitting diodes: neither shock nor vibration will harm the LED or disconnect it from the electrical contact. These light emitting diodes are also known under other names: Spider LEDs or Piranha LEDs and they give a fine flux and intensity needed for the printed circuit board platform. This quality allows the creation of robust light fixtures with a low system cost while using average assembly equipment. The application area is not reduced to stripes, tubes and rails. Spots, tiles and other shapes can enhance the light effects.
The Aurora stripes have other important traits. For instance, the choice of viewing angles increases the number of possible applications: from automotive striping to spectacular lighting designs, there is almost no LED application where these products cannot fit. Being highly customizable products, the Aurora LED light stripes can be mounted in any housing you prefer, however our standard offer consists of stripes with no housing, aluminum rails and diverse LED tubes for neon replacement
